Tee hee :-). I have the same rule and try to keep it to no characters on clothing, either. And she really wants a princess bike, and resists my explanations that she might not like the princesses in a year or so and we want her to keep her bike for a long time.
All her christmas presents are PINK and princesses.....Opps!
She does have you there Amy. For that I think she deserves the shoes. :)
