For the 4 year old boy who has everything?

I'm not even talking Christmas gifts, his birthday is tomorrow.
This kid has everything. I'm pretty sure he even owns the moon.

Jim and I are going to get him a dress. Kidding. Mostly.

It'll be too late for birthday ideas, but how about Christmas, friends? Ideas?

there are some great tops- as in wooden tops that spin- at "the bridge" in holland. i think that would be a pretty cool present. You could always take him out to eat somewhere- a gift to him and to his parents, maybe? Good luck. Although the dress and a doll may be a good idea. lol hgh

Check out the "Moon in My Room" thing. You can find it on the internet or I think in Hearthsong Catalog on the internet. I *thought* I may have seen it at Target.

I know for a fact you are not related to my nephew, because I only have a brother and you're nowhere near self-centered enough to e part of my SIL's family (did I just type that out lod? oops :-) ) biut we just scoured the store forsoemthing for our own beloved 4 year old boy. Don't think ballet lessons did not cross my mind.

How about a parent and tot class, art and craft class? or a zoo pass? or a tumbling class? or just a craft idea? That Zoobook Magazine or the magazine put out by National Geographic about the backyard animals. Magazines are the gifts that keep on giving each month.~Jen

Get him a savings bond. He won't be excited about it now but he will when he's older and has "suprise" money.

These are all great suggestions, and I'm happy to have them for Christmas. We ended up getting the "Hallabaloo" game. Perfect for a very active 5 year old (oh, geez, bad aunt of the year award, he's 5, not 4... aunt-in-law? does that absolve me?) who will NOT sit down to read (though, Jen, thanks for the idea which will be applied to another wee one), and has every version of every toy ever made in the history of toys. And tops and hula hoops are awesome in my book, but he'd look at it and say, "where do the batteries go? What does it say? When does the fire shoot out?" I love this kid, but he's tough to buy for.
Christina, moon in my room is neat! http://shopping.discovery.com/product-61582.html
Motown's Amy, hope you found something wonderful.
